University of Richmond Westhampton Center
This project is the renovation and 6,500sf addition to UR’s Westhampton School Deanery. It is a LEED-Silver project and provides not only offices for the Dean of Students, but also meeting spaces, a kitchen and offices for student organizations.
Most recently RVA completed a green field development of a Student Center with Eight cottages for the University of Richmond's Sororities. Single story, wood framed buildings with masonry veneer and simulated shingle roofing. The Activities Center contains a catering kitchen, meeting rooms and conference facilities. Each Cottage has a kitchen, group meeting space, a conference room and custom finishes and upgrades per Sorority.
Northside Family Learning Center
This project is a 20,600sf daycare and adult education facility sponsored by the Robins Foundation of Richmond. It is a LEED-Gold certified project and was voted first place for Sustainable Design by the Urban Land Institute (ULI) for 2010.
The Steward School – Bryan Lab
This is a 6,200 sf “Living Classroom” with wet and dry lab space, a demonstration kitchen, a wellness area and integrated outdoor learning. The building contains many sustainable components such as solar collectors for electricity and heating hot water, a rain water harvested irrigation system, a geo-thermal HVAC system, day-lighting shade control, and an interactive energy dashboard.
